Ananda Lakshmi Ayurveda Retreat

The charming Ananda Lakshmi Auyrveda Retreat is located on a small hill in southern Kerala with wonderful views over palm trees and down to the ocean. In the deliberately small-scale Ayurveda you will only find 15 rooms/villas in the midst of a tropical garden, which allows a very personal and familiar atmosphere putting the individual guest in the center always. The Ananda Lakshmi Ayurveda Retreat puts great importance on the topics of environmental friendliness, sustainability and holisticness, which is recognizable throughout the whole Ayurveda Resort.

For your stay choose either one of the Deluxe Rooms on the first or second floor with garden view or a spacious Deluxe Villa with sea view. The indoor climate of the accommodations is very pleasant due to the use of natural materials and makes it easier to dispense with air conditioning. Relax by the pool or take a refreshing dip in it, walk to the beach for about 30 minutes or make your way there leisurely by tuktuk.

The Ayurveda Center is run by Dr. med. Baiju, a doctor with many years of experience (including in a Swiss clinic), and consists of 9 modern treatment rooms, where you can enjoy your treatments (about 2 – 2.5 hours a day) after a detailed first consultation. Your individual treatment plan has the goal to bring your body, mind and soul back into balance and to promote your health holistically. The therapist team spoils you, among other things, with intensive massages, herbal packs and oil casts using only high quality products and oils. The Ananda Lakshmi Ayurveda Retreat has been awarded the “Green Leaf Certificate” since 2017.

Of course, your Ayurveda treatments are complemented by yoga, which always takes place outdoors in the morning. The hexagonal yoga pavilion and neem wood floor is something special with its view of palm trees and the wide beach.

You can enjoy your vegetarian meals in the covered restaurant in the fresh air and enjoy the delicious food as well as the tranquility of the neighboring bamboo plantations and a wonderful view. Dishes adapted to your individual Dosha type are served as a menu while accompanying guests can choose from the menu. The food ingredients are freshly sourced from local farmers. Alcohol and smoking are not allowed in the Ananda Lakshmi Ayurveda Retreat.

Excursions are organized for you by the dedicated team of the Ayurveda Resort on request and at extra cost – especially popular are boat tours in the famous backwaters, visits to the Kuthira Malika Palace, trips to the Thekkady National Park and much more.
